Mario Grimaldi and Oliver Caballero had a vision to a custom line of fine furniture to assist designers in creating the most professional interiors. From the moment the team opened their first workroom in 1997, they had the attention and respect of designers, as well as an enthusiastic reception from the public, for their excellent craftsmanship, design and quality. MGI expanded the company, with Caballero as the design helm. Cabellero's creations are influeced by modern classic but reflects comfort, beauty and quality. Grimaldi's hard work and perseverance built an extraordinary clientele bringing in some of America's top domestic and international patrons with repeated success.
The MICHAEL-CLEARY Showroom is in its 20th year in the Washington DC Design Center, and opened its doors in the Chicago Merchandise Mart in 2005.
